Doug, Tim and Bill rank their top 10 Buckeyes rank now, take your questions and talk to an OSU professor who's an expert on robots.

The start of Ohio State spring football practice is three weeks away, so before getting a chance to check out the new roster, we're ranking the best of the Buckeyes as we see them at the moment.

In this episode of Buckeye Talk, Tim Bielik, Bill Landis and Doug Lesmerises each give their own top 10 Buckeyes, then debate their lists. We talked about what we think of Taver Johnson as the new cornerbacks coach, replacing the departed Kerry Coombs.

And then ... there were the robots.

Doug's fear of a robot takeover of the world has become a running theme to Buckeye Talk. So in the middle of this podcast, you'll find an interview with Ohio State professor David Woods, who has been studying robots, autonomous systems and machine intelligence for almost 40 years and who in the last decade has engaged in many of the discussions and debates around the future of robots and autonomous systems in our society.

Ep. 119: National Signing Day wrap, is grabbing a 5-star tackle or keeping Greg Schiano bigger?

Ohio State's 26-player class ranks No. 2 in the nation, and Bill, Doug and Bill explain how everything went down with this 2018 class.

Ohio State wrapped up a 26-player recruiting class on National Signing Day, including a huge final-day addition to the class in five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere.

The Buckeyes also announced that Urban Meyer will be signing a two-year contract extension and revealed that defensive coordinator Greg Schiano isn't leaving for the New England Patriots and will stick around for 2018, while preparing to make $1 million as an assistant.

Busy.

In the latest Buckeye Talk Podcast, Bill Landis, Tim Bielik and Doug Lesmerises cover it all. We talk about Schiano's impact, how the Buckeyes landed Petit-Frere, why Georgia beat out the Buckeyes for the No. 1 class, whether Michigan recruiting is falling off and which players from this class could contribute right away for the Buckeyes in 2018.

Basketball podcast: Are the Buckeyes bound for Boise in NCAA Tournament, unless they beat Purdue?

Bill Landis and Doug Lesmerises break down Ohio State's tourney possibilities and whether they have a shot vs. No. 3 Purdue.

Ohio State basketball is No. 14 in the latest AP poll, but the Buckeyes might have trouble sticking close to home to start the NCAA Tournament. That is, unless they beat No. 3 Purdue on Wednesday.

In this basketball edition of Buckeye Talk, Bill Landis and Doug Lesmerises break down the chances of a major OSU upset in West Lafayette; examine whether the suspension of Kam Williams increases the chances that Keita Bates-Diop, Jae'Sean Tate and C. J. Jackson wear down by the end of the season; and talk about Landis' recent trip to Nashville.

Why Nashville? Because Detroit, Pittsburgh and Nashville are the three closest first-week NCAA sites to Ohio. But despite being on track for a top four seed in the tourney, the Buckeyes may be looking at a trip West. Doug and Bill explain why.

Plus, for football fans, there's some bonus recruiting updates at the end as Ohio State gets ready for Wednesday's National Signing Day.

Ep. 116: Only 3 Buckeyes left early for the NFL, could so many players returning create issues?

Dre'Mont Jones, Mike Weber, Parris Campbell, Terr…

Dre'Mont Jones, Mike Weber, Parris Campbell, Terry McLaurin, Johnnie Dixon and K.J. Hill all stayed at Ohio State for the 2018 season, leaving only Denzel Ward, Sam Hubbard and Jerome Baker as the Buckeyes who declared early for the NFL Draft. That's a lot of talent sticking around, after two years of the Buckeyes losing more players to the NFL than expected. But could that upset the natural balance of the roster, and maybe block some younger players ready to take on bigger roles? In the latest Buckeye Talk, Tim Bielik, Bill Landis and Doug Lesmerises examine this question, provide a complete breakdown of the receiver position for next season and answer a ton of listener questions about the Buckeyes and food.

Ep. 115: How should J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber share carries next season?

Mike Weber has seemingly decided to stay at Ohio …

Mike Weber has seemingly decided to stay at Ohio State, so what does that mean for the Buckeyes tailback situation in 2018 with Weber and J.K. Dobbins together again in the backfield? Doesn't Dobbins need more carries than the 194 he received this season? How many more rushing attempts will the tailbacks get if the Buckeyes don't run the QB as much? Is Weber as good of a back as Dobbins? Bill Landis, Tim Bielik and Doug Lesmerises discuss it all while focusing on the backfield in the first of what will be six depth chart breakdowns for 2018 over the next several podcasts. We also take reader questions and, of course, drop in some food and robot talk.
